This does not bode well...
My travels have begun. Normally, i'd be writing this in my journal, but though I have my journal, I packed my pens in the bag that SW airlines lost. Other than my travel docs, computer, and toothbrush/paste, it looks like I should've checked what I have with me and not checked what was in my backpacking bag. What's really frustrating is i had a feeling that something like this was going to happen. (It's not just 20/20 hindsight either... I was watching them load the bags onto the plane and praying about my stuff arriving the whole way to NYC.) I guess it was the Holy Spirit and I should've listened. Hopefully they find it before I board my plane to paris tomorrow. Otherwise, they'll have to ship it to the UK. At least they can ship it to Bronwyn's place if needed. I just realized, SW kept my baggage claim ticket... I hope that's not going to be a problem. What a way to start a trip!
