APPLET. Snerk. That iWINN stuff, besides just Rube in general (so sad he wasn't in this chapter at all), is my favorite creation of yours in this series. I like that real time has lapped story time, so you can include stuff now that you wouldn't have been able to before, like marriage equality in NY or some of the Apple stuff.

While I am disappointed we did not actually get the 5-way Skype scene, it's very easy to imagine Ben getting all after-school-specialy with Gus, and that makes me smile. A lot.

Yes, you caught that real time lapping...it's making things interesting because now I have to consult a calendar when I write. I can honestly tell you that that 5-way Skype scene was so after-school-special that I did not even write it IN MY HEAD. But, I laughed A LOT anyway at what it was probably like. It's nice to not laugh about it alone anymore!

Justin the force of reason and Brian hurting about Gus. I love the idea of them dealing with Gus as a teenager. And doing it together.

Gus getting older has some really interesting implications...something I never even thought about when I started this story. I have a scene between Lindsay and Gus that I deleted from this chapter. Perhaps I'll release it in a few days. xoxo

Fantastic chapter. I really, really loved how the Gus problem was resolved -- Brian freaking out about it being "the beginning of the end" was so, so in character, because, yeah, he's got to be tremendously sensitive to his own son reacting badly to his lifestyle... Justin talking him down and then waiting him out was amazing.

In the other end of the spectrum, I laughed like an IDIOT when Brian finally explained iWWINN and APPLET. Totally amazing.

It was so, so wonderful to immerse myself in this universe again -- thank you for an incredible installment, hon.

Nothing makes me happier than hearing someone laugh that hard over a chapter. And yes, I think Brian never even pondered that Gus might have this sort of reaction to his lifestyle. I feel bad for him but that's kids for ya, lol!
