Michael and Bryan please help with this

When I was at Jon's he gave me some memory from his new computer. He bought a new HP laptop and upgraded his memory as soon as he got it, he tried to put the other in mine to give it a boost but it wouldn't fit. I need to sell these but I have no idea how to list them on ebay or whatever. Can you help ( Read more... )

There are two important pieces of information you need about the memory -

1) how "large" each stick is - i.e., 128mb, 265mb, etc.
and
2) it's "PC" number. Look for anything like PC3200, PC133, etc.

If you want to shoot a picture of the DIMM with the label showing, I'll take a look at it.

I'll take a picture of them tomorrow but here is what they say
512 MB 2Rx16 PC2-5300S-555-12-A0

the other says the same thing

They are HP
It says they are replacable with HP spare 434741-001

Does that help any?

It looks like you have a pair of 512mb sticks, totalling 1 gigabyte.

They're 200pin PC2-5300 SODIMM's.
