Secret Pal Questioner For me to fill out not my friends ;)
1. Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer higher quality and/or natural fibers)? Do you avoid cheaper brands and/or acrylics? No I don't avoid cheaper yarns, I do like to try the nicer cheap yarns such as the Joanns line of non redheart acrylics :)
2. Do you knit, crochet, or do both? Do you spin? I crochet mostly, I knit a little, and I have a drop spindle that mocks me.
3. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in? How about your other tools, like stitch holders and point protectors? Where do you store your yarn? I have a roll that my crochet hooks go in but all my knitting needles and things are in a drawer, my yarn is in a wood trunk, and displayed on a cubby shelf.
4. How long have you been knitting/crocheting? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced? I would say I am an intermediate to advanced crocheter, but beginner knitter.

6. What's your favorite scent? (For candles, bath products etc.) Are there any scents you can't stand? I like food scents mostly. Warm Vanilla Suger from Bath and Body Works is my favorite. I don't like perfume scents or strong florals like gardina.
7. What are your favorite candies and snacks? I like beef jerky and chex mix mainly, also fruit roll ups and fruit leather, oh and Larabars are my favorite.
8. What other crafts or DIY things do you like to do? Any you don't like? Any you'd like to try? I love to scrapbook, like to sew, like to make jewelry, I'm trying to like watercolors again, don't like embroidrery, open to any new crafts.
9. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (If your buddy wants to make you a CD.) I like just about everything, some of my favorites are Tori Amos, Bjork, Radiohead, Imogen Heap, I also like Jack Johnson, Tool, Mazzy Star, and many more. I can play mp3s.
10. What's your favorite color? Or do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? Any colors you just can't stand? (This goes for wearing and for knitting/crocheting with.) I like earthy tones best but cool colors are also wonderful. I don't really like yellow unless it is in a good mix, no neons.
11. What are your family and living situations? Do you have any pets? I have a four year old son, and three bettas.
12. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens/gloves, slippers or ponchos? Love scarves and hats wear them all the time, I only wear mittens for about two days a year but I like them, don't care for heavy weight ponchos but I would like a lightweight more decorative non functional poncho, don't wear slippers, love to carry purses.
13. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? I love using plied yarns because they have so many color variations in them, I also like thick bulky yarns because they work up fast.
14. What fibers do you absolutely not like? None really
15. What is/are your current knitting/crocheting obsession/s? I would have to say just buying handspun yarn on a whim
16. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit/crochet?I love making basic beanies and skinny scarves but purses are high up too.
17. What are you knitting/crocheting right now? kitty hats, a purse, dyeing wool for a purse, making a long tub on my nifty knitter.

26. How do you decorate your house/room? Is there anything that you collect? I collect fairies, my craft room is done in black and white.

28. Any books, yarns, needles or patterns out there you are dying to get your hands on? I would love to try some circular needles, the Stitch N Bitch books, I would love to try noro or colinettes yarns.
29. Are there any new techniques you'd like to learn? lol I would like to learn how to purl since I can currently only do the knit stitch. Also inartia (Sp) putting designs in my work.

31. Do you have any fandoms? (Harry Potter, BtVS, etc.) Who are your favorite characters? I love Angel, Angel and Spike, Also Serenity, Mal and Inara are my favorites.
32. Would you like and use icons, layouts, banners or wallpapers? Anything specific? I love yarn or fiber wallpapers, anything Angel or Tori Amos related is good too. I have no knitting or crochet icons so those would be cool.
