Band Concert
Shaw and I went to see our friend Tim at his spring recital. He's been the director of bands at Seaholm High School in Birmingham for the past two years, and it was a lot of fun finally getting to see him conduct.
They had a pretty sweet program, with lots of cool-sounding, challenging stuff for a high school ensemble. I especially liked the theme from The Incredibles, in addition to Tim's "poetic use of language" during his microphone bits.
