First day
Well my first 4 out of my 6 classes look like they're gonna be okay. My Sign Language class is going to be very interesting since my professor is deaf and after today there won't be an interpreter in the class. We have to attend a deaf event too which could be fun. We have to wear earplugs in class and if we talk she makes us leave so that could be kinda hard. My History of the English Language class is probably going to be okay since my prof seems pretty funny and stuff, but the actual material seems pretty boring. I found out that my technical writing class is only going to meet on Mondays instead of Monday and Wednesday which is good! It's probably boring anyway so the less time I spend in there the better!!! My education class seems like it's going to be very interesting. There are only 7 people in the class so there's gonna be a lot of discussion and stuff and we have to do a Communities in Schools thing where we help at risk kids in elementary and middle schools as mentors or tutors. It sounds kinda hard, but very interesting. We also have a ton of projects and papers in that class and no tests which is my kind of class!!! I found out yesterday I can reapply for the URF thing I didn't get into in the spring and one of my profs this semester was looking for a fellow so I'm going to meet with her tomorrow about applying. Hopefully I'll get it this time because it's good money and it looks good on grad school applications and stuff. Anyways, two more classes tomorrow, hopefully my good luck streak in classes doesn't run out before then!!!
