Wow! This was so thorough! I really learned a good solid base on BJDs now, and the part about why they're so expensive was great. Alot of my family members that I've tried explaing dolls to don't seem to get that part ( and even I was still a little confused myself ), but this was really great about explaining it much clearer. Thanks!

That's why I wrote this. I didn't know of any place that I could send my friends or family members to so they could understand what I'm into. Now there is! :)

There is an index of doll companies at the end of BJD_WTF that lists a LOT of doll companies, you can purchase a doll from any of them. :)

I just started looking into getting a BJD (if I can ever get the money together, that is o.O) and I was trying to google any information I could. To find out where to order, what to order, and what was the best way to go about this, especially for ordering your first one... This site is amazing. =) Thank you!

There is a great wealth of information here - I'm so impressed! I've been fascinated by BJDs from afar for years now, and while I lurk at Den of Angels...every post there kind of expects you to already be learned in all things BJD. So yeah this really answered a lot of my lingering questions. Great job!

Now if only I wasn't poverty stricken I could finally feed my curiosity and get my first BJD! XD
