The glaucoma specialist says everything is stable. Test results were almost identical to those from a year ago.
He's concerned about dryness, though, both because of its affect on vision and because of its susceptibility to infection.
He wants me to shampoo my eyelids and lashes with baby shampoo every day. I did this morning. Let me tell you, shampooing your eyes is a strange feeling. He also wants me to take Omega-3 fish oil tablets three times a day. He gave me some drops to counteract the dryness from the other drops. You're supposed to wait six minutes between eyedrops, so by the time I finish my morning drops it's time for the evening drops. Not really, but it seems like it. If I can keep seeing moderately well, it's well worth it.
