so i lost/probably had my wallet swiped while at a club Sunday night, but as far as losing wallets go, it really wasn't that bad of an experience. i shouldn't have even brought my wallet with me, i usually leave it in the car if i bring it at all, but i forgot to take it out of my pocket, and i really didn't want to go back and put it in the car,

You have a bath membership in Rome?

haha, i sure do. it's rather fun actually. i haven't been too wild there but the whole experience is kinda nice. removing sex altogether, it's actually a really nice place to go because it's like a spa. you go in, they give you two towels, a pair of sandals, and a key braclet for two lockers; one for your valuables, and another to store your clothes. one of the towels is a beach towel, and the other is really long, but very narrow, and this is the one you're supposed to wear around you while your walking around--it's like a skimpy skirt. one of the two i went to is really nice, they have three pools like in antiquity; one hot, one warm, one cold. there's a sauna, a steam room, a gym, a rec.room with television and snack bar; a dark labrynth with various little rooms you can go into and do whatever, and another lounge with more "appropriate" television playing. i've only been twice, once to each of the two i know of, but it's really fun, and completely foreign.

Yeah, public baths are nice. I never did them in Rome, but I did them pretty frequently in Korea (which, like Rome, has a very long history with that sort of thing). In Korea, though, you were completely naked, but there wasn't sexual philandering going on (although I have heard that there are a few locations known for that, I never got the chance to go those particular ones and check them out for myself). Sounds like you're having fun, which is good!

yea, you're pretty much naked when your around the water, but it would be kinda gross/weird to be eating naked maybe..? but that would be cool to i guess, to never have a chance to be covered. so would you say that you find korean guys to be especially attractive?

Korean guys were an interesting lot, that's for sure. I wouldn't say that across the board I found them to be especially attractive. I would, however, say that the attractive ones were very much so. Additionally, the culture there tends to create a sort of friendly physical familiarity and affection between guys that can seem downright feminine when viewed from an American lens (didn't Justin do some graduate work on the feminizing of Asian men in America?). I, being a gay man who is particularly attracted to tenderness and perceived sexual ambiguity, found this to be pretty nice.
