Eulogy - the times are a changing

Nov 29, 2006 01:22

another one of the oldies in my family has died. she was the oldest person on my dad's side of the family. this only leaves one oldy left, my great grandmother.

It's a passing down of the torch, an inheritance of new responsibility, a sign that we are getting older. my lola's generation are now the new oldies. my father's generation is ending its prime while my generation is just entering it.

Life is always moving forword, it waits for no one. Right when you get comfortable, your foundation crumbles under your feet. I'm not sure if everything in my life is a result of my choices or just coincidence.

I am lost, struggling to find my way. I'm losing faith in humanity, yet even I know that the good people in your life, that care deeply about you, are the greatest blessings anyone can ever have.

R.I.P. Mommy Rosing. You were one of the good ones.
