Ok, I just wrote you all a lovely entry, and then deleted it. Hmm so now this entry may be quite shorter, and less inspiring. Not that anything I write is ever inspiring....just shut up and read. lol
Yeah well anyway, its coming near the end of 2005, and I was thinking last night on how Green Day have affected my year. I bought AI, early this year. To tell you all the shocking truth. I didn't like it. It was aslot slower than I thought. I thought they would all be like American Idiot, and the song lyrics were a little too hard for me to follow.
Then I saw in the paper that they were touring and my friend and I decided to go. I really don't know why I went, because I was really pissy that I spent $30 on a cd, and didn't like it. But yeah, I went, and had the best night of my life. Since then (March) I have been obsessed to the max. I was surprised how many songs they sang, that I actually knew. And I was coming to love the AI album aswell. I understood the lyrics better because I actually sat down and forced myslef to understand, and my whole life started to change. Because of Green day I know have a style, a sensible music taste (now I'm not listening to Eminem), and I play guitar and am in a band. Oh and I also made a new friend..hi emma! *waves*
