The Return of the Biz
Happy Halloween, y'all!
I haven't updated in forever so I can't really give a recap but I figured I should sign on so everyone knows I'm alive :)
Things in Beantown are going pretty well. Work is OK but I just keep telling myself, "It's not permenant" and that makes it better. I picked up a 2nd job at the Burren (an Irish pub down the street from my house) a few months ago and work there on Sundays. It sucks to work 6 days a week but the money is good so I can't turn it down.
We moved into our new apartment about 2 months ago and things are going well there. No nosey neighbors and it doesn't look like you've stepped into 1972 when you walk through the front door so I can't hate on that!
Paul is great. We're celebrating our 1 year next Monday which is HUGE for me so I'm very excited. We've come a long way from him being my pretend boyfriend :) His birthday is next Saturday so he's getting a 2-fer gift and I'm taking him to a B&B in Vermont (it looks really nice on the website) and out to dinner while we're there along with a massage gift certificate. He's making out like a bandit if you ask me but he deserves it! He already gave me my gift which was a shopping spree (that he came along for) which, goes without saying, was one of the best gifts I've ever gotten.
