Amy is married!!!!! It's soooooooooo surreal.
Well one down, about 4 more to go.
I dont think we could have asked for a better wedding.
Everyone was so amazing. It's funny what a little elbow grease can do to us country girls, hahha. No but seriously all of our hair was perfect and our makeup made us all gleam.
Of course we all had our tears (what sort of wedding would it be w/o them) but it really wasnt as many as i thought. Jac and I were cool until we looked at Brian's face and he had weepy eyes and then i looked to jac and saw two tears and that's when i lost it. And then we all lost it once it was all done and over with and we were all in the hall together.
The reception was really fun as well. We really got to know Brian's side a little better, which was nice because they seemed sort of stand offish the day prior. Especially when you get some drinks in those boys, they warm up to you beyond comfort levels. hahha. but no we all partied hard and the dance floor was rarely empty of our feet.
I'm sure amy will be posting pics of the day up soon, so i'll just reroute the link.
Other then that things are good.
I flew in from Maui yesterday morning and came straight to A-town to begin the festivities.The plane ride was okay, nothing spectacular, except the fact that i didnt know we were stopping in san fran and all the attendants on the flight couldnt tell me for poss if it was continueing to CHI. So that pissed me off but i was like, well hey as long as i'm in atown by 11, i dont care.
I havnt really updated this thing in along ass time.
Basically there was a lot of drama the whole time i was in maui and that's why i'm glad to be back.
However it did end on a sort of nice note.
There was this kid Ryan that i had met at work, i really didnt think anything of him, just a reg kid and by the way he acted at first he didnt seem like the kind of guy i'd norm hang out w/.
Well weeks went by and then about a week and a half ago he came over to our house just to spend a few nights while he looked for a place to stay. Well one of those nights the other guys in the house were being really loud and he was trying to sleep on the couch. Well i was going out to check to see if i got mail and he was heading out to sleep in his van and i was like, you know what ryan why dont you just come and sleep on our floor, it will be alot more quite and comfortable. So he did and from there we started to talk more. I found out that he wasa tri athelete and all this other stuff. So a few days later Melissa, Toni and I were gonna go swimming and so i invited him to come out w/ us and he did. We were just doing our laps like nothing and i mean we were talking a bit but toni and melissa said that they think there was more. So basically they put this damn bug in my ear saying that they think he liked me.Well we hung out pretty much everyday after that until i left. According to Toni i guess he beams when he talks to me and he seems excited whenever we talk,which i guess he doesnt sound when he's talking to everyone else. He's so sweet too, on toni's last night out (the day before i left) he knew that he wouldnt see me the next day to say goodbye so he came over to the house looking for me but we were out to dinner.It was weird though because we were on our way home but robbie's car wouldnt start so we called and talked to rick and rick was like "hey ryan is here waiting for you, here let me gethim he's about to leave" So he hands ryna the phone and ry was like "hey, i wanted to say goodbye to you cause i'm going to my friend's house tonight and i'm biking west maui tom. But i have to go now, i waited as long as i could i'm sorry" i was like awww :( So i never got to say goodbye to him in person. So when i was at the airport i called him and left a msg saying that it was so great to meet him and i enjoyed hanging out with him the last cpl days. And he didnt call me back right away, i was sort of bummed too cause i was hopeing he'd call but when i landed i didnt have any vm's from him. So then later yesterday afternoon i was at target getting wrapping paper for amy's present and i was expecting amanda to call me cause she was getting her makeup planned out and my phone wrang and it just said call, soi was just assuming it was her but when i answered it was him :) He just wanted to make sure my flight was good and he apologized for not being able to officially say goodbye and for not calling back right away but he knew i was on my flight so he just wanted to wait until he knew i was there. He told me to call him and keep in touch w/ email, soo.... We'll see. I'd be fine w/ just being frined. he's just so inspirational w/ all his training, it's really cool...
okay well i'm really cold right now becaue my rents like to keep our house like an igloo and i'm still in my bridesmaid gown, cause well i'm lazy and it's actually not that bad,i was pretty comfy in it all day, GOOD CHOICE AMY!
Alright so i'm going to bed and i just want to give a loud CON-GRAD-U-LATIONS TO AMY AND BRIAN ALLEN!!!!! I love you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
