So tonight was my frist gallery ever!
it was sooo fun. nobody really showed up till 8:45 which was good because we were still putting everything together. So pretty much everyone showed up to it. There were three that didnt but two had an excuse and donny never gave me a responce so i dont know i sort of had a feeling that he wasnt going to show. but yeah it was so fun. and my place didnt get as trashed as i suspected. and best of all alot of ppl loved my work. It was really nice, Dan Barron came and he's never really seen my work, we realzed tonight that neither of us have really seen eachother's work before, but anyways he was really taken by it. I'm like you're just saying that cause we're friends and he was like no no i'm not i really love it all. he especially loved the clothes hanging on my living room wall and then to corrilate it w/ the opposite wall with the actual project. and then he said that he normally doesnt like nudes but he loved my body shop stuff. he sort of took a biblical stance on it, which was cool too. he's more of a artsy photographer so for him to get more out of it then just a consumer shot was great. so yeah.
i also got to meet some new ppl, like davy brought her friend and boyfriend and they were really nice.
hmm, what else, not much i guess, i'm soooo tired right now.
it was a great time though and i'm very very pleased how my 1st gallery and actually first real party went.
YEAH!
i also have to thank donna for helping me set everything up today.
oh yeah we went to trader joe's this afternoon to get some cheap wine and our check out guy was this cute nerd and well i dont ask random ppl out or anything but donna kept kicking me. i didnt ask him to come but i really should have, i regret it right away. His name was Andy and he was this cute nerd that looked to be about 22 ish. I told her that we'll go back next week and if he's there then it's ment to be. So yeah we'll see.
Alright i need to go to bed, i'm sooooo tired.
