Calling all... People!
Hello lovely people! Have I told you how much I lovelovelovelove you all? *BIG GRIN*
Okay okay, so I have a favor to ask all you crazy people out there. Does anyone know anyone who could even remotely be acquainted to someone who writes for sports in newspapers or magazines? I need to find an internship for this summer annnnd surprisingly, there aren't too many! I'm thinking I need to stretch out and ask people! SO! If anyone knows anyone and wants to let me know, THANK YOU!
The criteria for this internship is:
-HAS to be writing intensive. A lot of "journalism" internships just make you do a lot of PR and behind the scenes stuff... you know.. typical intern stuff. But the people at UNH require that I actually write stories and stuff. Not big stories necessarily, but stories nonetheless that get published.
-UNH wants it to be a paid internship or at least stipend-ed. Again, who knew. But they feel that's the only way a place is going to take the intern seriously.
