vancouver update #1
got my laptop working. sitting in the hostel updating and reading emails.
last night for my birthday we went to dinner then afterwards drinks at the roxy. the house band got me, emily, and brandi to stand on stage for a song. i took a lot of drunk pictures. more on that later.
today was the most eventful. at the design firm this morning we got there and all piled up in the elevator, thinking we should be ok there's 10 of us but it takes 2000lbs. yeah, we got stuck! we had to call the emergency phone and had the landlord pry open the doors. it was scary for a minute. the firm was really cool, and nice. let us stay and talk for over an hour, gave us a lot of advice and insight about working on projects.
later emily, brandi and i went to the vancouver art gallery. i was off on my own when emily runs up to me and tells me "guess who's in the next room...." "pierce brosnan!" yeah it was crazy. he was just lookin at art along with us. brandi almost ran into him a couple of times. all the ladies in the gallery got giddy and gawked.
