I'm eating extremely healthy foods today, after eating crap for the past week. I still haven't been working out because weight lifting was making it impossible for me to stop gaining weight, but I'm not really losing any muscle. I read that if you're very fit, it can take years to lose the muscle, and that fits my experiences a lot more than most of the more superficial articles that I read.
Anyway, I can feel myself de-bloating with the healthier foods that are lower in simple carbs and salts.
I really miss weight lifting, though. I wish I could go push myself hard at the gym, but if I do I'm sure I'll go back to gaining weight, and that has to stop at some point.
If I start losing muscle, I'll go back to the gym. Until then, I'm sedentary. I still do joint mobility and foam rolling, though.
