(idea stolen from
loisxxlane. will be under an lj cut as the list gets longer...)
001. Sex and the City. starring Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw), Kim Cattrall (Samantha Jones), Kristin Davis (Charlotte York Goldenblatt), and Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes). i liked the series, so of course, i liked the movie. there was frontal (well, side) male nudity. like, full body nudity.
002. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. starring Ben Stiller (Alex the Lion), Jada Pinkett Smith (Gloria the Hippo), Chris Rock (Marty the Zebra) and David Schwimmer (Melman the Giraffe). it was an ok movie. i thought the best part was the penguins, just like in the first one.
003. WALL-E. a computer-animated scifi film by Pixar Animation Studios. i'm sorry, i didnt like it at all. it was torture sitting thru the movie.
004. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. based on the 2nd published novel in CS Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia. starring Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian), and the voices of Eddie Izzard and Liam Neeson. not too many people i know liked this movie, and said it wasnt as good as the first. i thought it wasnt too bad.
005. Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. starring John Cho (Harold) and Kal Penn (Kimar), also Neil Patrick Harris (creepy Neil Patrick Harris). this movie isnt worth even mentioning.
006. Punisher: War Zone. starring Ray Stevenson (Frank Castle / The Punisher) and Dominic West (Jigsaw). there wasnt any point to this movie other than kill as many people as possible in the bloodiest way possible. if you like senseless violence, then you'll like this movie. if you like your movies to have a plot, you wont like it.
007. Run Fatboy Run. starring Simon Pegg and Hank Azaria. i'm sorry, i like Simon Pegg. so i liked this movie. not as good as Hot Fuzz and Sean of the Dead, but not too bad. Hank Azaria's ripped body was a bit creepy.
008. How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. starring Simon Pegg (Sidney Young),
Kirsten Dunst (Alison Olsen), Jeff Bridges (Clayton Harding), Danny Huston (Lawrence Maddox), Gillian Anderson (Eleanor Johnson) and Megan Fox (Sophie Maes). i didnt like this one at all. parts were funny, but it's really not worth watching. Megan Fox's character was annoying as hell.
009. Taken. starring Liam Neeson (Bryan Mills) and Maggie Grace (Kim Mills). about human trafficking. it's a great movie. definitely 5 stars. Liam Neeson was really good in this movie. definitely i'd recommend it.
010. The Haunting in Connecticut. starring Virginia Madsen. based on the true story of the Snedeker family's encounter with the paranormal in Southington, Connecticut. parts of this movie were scary as hell. people jumped and screamed in the theater. i jumped a couple times, and i'm not easy to scare.
011. Bride Wars. starring Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway, Candice Bergen, Chris Pratt and Kristen Johnston. Kristen Johnston needs to put her weight back on. she was scary-anorexic looking. other than that, the movie was pretty funny. i felt sorry for Kate Hudson's character, tho.
012. Baby Mama. starring Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Greg Kinnear. the movie was great. that's all i gotta say. predictable ending tho.
013. X-Men Origins: Wolverine. starring Hugh Jackman (Wolverine / Logan), Liev Schreiber (Sabertooth), Taylor Kitsch (Gambit) and Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool). it was ok if youre a Hugh Jackman or Wolverine fan. if you're a Gambit fan, however, you'll sit thru the movie going "where's Gambit? they said he was gonna be in it." and when he finally shows up, you'll be disappointed with how they did him.
014. Madagascar. starring Ben Stiller (Alex the Lion), Jada Pinkett Smith (Gloria the Hippo), Chris Rock (Marty the Zebra) and David Schwimmer (Melman the Giraffe). the best part was the penguins. Marty the Zebra was annoying as hell.
015. Knowing. starring Nicolas Cage, Rose Byrne and Chandler Canterbury. i really liked this movie. it was creepy as hell, and the ending was awesome. i'm not quite sure why i liked it so much, but i did. the way they did the "Whisper People" was awesome. watch this movie. now.
