(no subject)
It occurs to me that I've been keeping a journal much more reliably than lj would suggest. Unfortunately, my journal keeping has been in a rather horrible method, which I had told myself I'd never do again after high school. Letter writing. I write all about my week, what I've been up to, how I've been feeling, and then I send it off to a person who, although she says she enjoys getting them, in all honestly probably couldn't care less. Which is both weak, and lame. Of me.
Things that happened this past week; new comic book day was indeed good, and with luck, this weeks shall be as well. There's supposed to be a new Wonderland, which would be Wonderland issue 2, this week. After passing my drug screening I took Nate to lunch at CPK, followed by a shopping spree in which I bought two shirts. Then I took Chelsey and Santavorn to the Bonefish, where they insisted on leaving my number for a poor bewildered waitress who has not yet called and clearly isn't going to. The next night Santavorn, Chelsey, and a couple of her friends from work, and I, all went bowling. I was the worst there, but it was a lot of fun. I tried to get no less than three girls to come up with me, but none did.
Saturday I went to the Magic prerelease with Nate. So insane. So, so insane. I totally not only got my butt whupped by some evil little 12 year old, but he schooled me on the basic mechanics of the game while doing it. Hatred. At least I got a game off him. Cards of note that I didn't get. Stuffy Doll, 0/1 artifact creature, can't be destroyed, any damage done to stuffy doll is done to opposing player instead, tap to deal 1 dmg to stuffy doll. A red creature with; when this creature damages opposing player that player discards his hand and draws an equivalent number of cards. There were other sick things, but either I can't think of them, or I own them.
Oh, and it was totally awesome to hear from Arlene. If I had any money left I'd totally call her and say, "hey, it's totally my turn to treat you to a meal." Unfortunately I'm gonna have to wait until at least friday for that, I'm kinda poor until pay day.
