I'm still sick with the plague. That's not stopping me from going to work and infecting everyone else though, suckers. I think I'm gonna bring in a carton of OJ today though, I feel better after drinking some OJ, I'm sure that's all psychosomatic, and yet, it's still true. Yay placeboes. So yeah, as I mentioned before, Kim wrote, and that was nice. I haven't written back yet. I'm contemplating giving up the convenience of e-mail for a more traditional pen-pal approach. You know, of the variety actually involving a pen. My penmanship leaves something to be desired, but there's that more personal touch. Plus I'll be able to more accurately judge the length of a page, because honestly, on the computer, I have no idea how long a page is.
I also heard from Karin, which is super-exciting. I haven't seen her in waaaay too long. She offered to try and get me a ticket for her graduation, but I declined. I shouldn't've, but I did. I wrote back and asked what she was up to this summer. In all likelihood she'll be busy working at camp or something similar that will mean we won't get to spend much time together. Which is a total shame because getting to spend time with her and Arlene were the two brightest points of moving back to Washington. And now they may be out of reach all summer. Which, with luck, will be my penultimate summer in the state.
