My word, it has been quite a while. We're heading to the Summer League Semi-finals this Saturday, and to top it all off, the Dumbasses have had a really strong start in Fall League play. I may try to post some of the weeks I haven't yet had time to write up, but I want to get these out while they're still fresh. Enjoy the glorious return of...

After two straight weeks of taking first place at Albert's, we were hoping for a third but the final question got us. As has been our ritual of late, we've taken up a regular spot at Randy's Bar & Grill on Wednesday night. All told, I enjoy Randy's just a bit more than Albert's, mostly because it's a little more laid back. People at Albert's play for blood. People at Randy's play for cupcakes and dirty jokes (case in point: one of the teams this last Wednesday named themselves "Go Fuck Yourself, You'll Get More Pussy That Way"). Makes "The Dumbasses" seem like kindergarten-approved language in comparison. Another harrowing round:

What Didn't We Know? - (Randy's) - Wednesday 8/25/2010

Once per game, there is an "And More..." question, which you are not required to answer. You can answer just the first question and wager as normal, or you can take a chance and answer the second question as well. However, if you answer the second question and get it wrong, you do not get the points for the first question (whether you got the first question correct or not). If you get both of them correct, you get both the points you wagered for the first question plus 3 bonus points. The questions are always in the same category, and are almost always related.

So there you have it! If work starts to quiet down, I'll start posting some of the back-logged results from the last month.
