While I fear that this may be a pre-emptive 'huzzah' for the neighborhood fireworks extravaganza being over, I'm going to go ahead and provisionally put it out there.
I mean, the neighbors were setting things off last night that found and crossed the line from being fun & celebratory fireworks to just plain old explosives. For God's sake people, you're setting off things that don't sparkle or turn colors or do anything other than give off a huge cloud of smoke and create a shockwave that surprisingly doesn't shatter any windows. Yes, I know you love America more than anyone else on the block. Whoop Dee Shit. Some people have to work in the morning, fuckers.
