If you're going to San Francisco, be sure to just shut the fuck up I guess
Ben and I went and saw the Barenaked Ladies last night in SF, it was a really solid show, Steve's voice in particular was totally spot-on, and in general everyone was in top form. The opening band kinda blew, I thought, but whatever. After the show, two girls who had been sitting a row or two behind me came up to compliment (and further, bow down in front of me) the fact that I knew all the words to every single song (the stuff from BLAMen, too) and one of them gave me a dollar. I kept it because I needed it for bridge toll.
Can't wait to buy the show from the BNL website; it was fantastic and I hope that they tour again next summer... although I did like seeing them at such an intimate venue, summer is just concert time. Plus, I wish we'd been able to tailgate for this show. Alas, I had to buy $10 beers instead.
