We were halfway there when the rain came down / of a day-i-ay--ay
I neeeeed to stop spending money. But I haven't had any for a while so it feels so gooood... I keep getting random things for my house like sponges and shower strainer things and measuring spoons. I got some really nice and already broken in good derby skates yesterday for half their store price, which is nice too since my current skates are too big for me. Also I spent like $35 buying used books off Amazon.com. Ah, the summer fluffy reading binge. I rrreally need to go to the library. But I also need to do 4 loads of laundry. And finish painting my room. And do my share of house cleaning. And skate a lot. And stop being flaky and get in touch with people. And set up a 401k? People who are in the know tell me I need to do this. I need more time! Also tryouts are less than a month away! AAH!
So I painted half of my room a lovely bright geen called "hearty hasta." This won't help you imagine the color very well, but here's a hasta plant:
I was going to go skating last night but instead I went to St. Paul and bought those skates from Fixie Chic (of the MNRG) and had dinner with Corina. We went to the Chatterbox, which I've been craving for weeks. Sweet potato fries and Hell Cat Inferno burger mmm! Tonight is more skaing, this time with the newbies on the men's team (Twin Cities Terrors). Mae Gusta is giving me a ride! Yeah!
