Recap of Day 2 & 3
Day 2: Not a very busy day, RP-wise. Nightwing tried to work out to do about the situation in the Baycave with Batzarro & Robin, largely spent the time keeping the other two from killing each other. NW traking the lead as he felt he should with Batman still missing.
On the streets of Gotham, Ratman (not a typo) took down 2 COBRA tanks and stole a third.
That mostly covered the 2nd day.
Day 3: Technically this was still Day 2 but it occured in the wee hours of the morning, later that day, depending on what part of the planet you live on.
Captain America and SHIELD, with the assistance of Leif Elden (SHIELD outside the barrier, Leif within) tried taking down the barrier over Gotham but only managed to cause a shift in it's color spectrum and then kick off a massive sonic defense system it employs. Cap was informed that Lex Luthor has landed on a private airfield not too far away and went to investigate. Leif Elden and the Knight, who had shown up just after the sonic assault, went to see if they could rig a counter to the sonic defense and possibly rig an EMP...
...ironically, COBRA launched a massive EMP burst from the center of Gotham. Taking out the heroes gear, neutralizing any potential tech they might use, and sweeping out a ways outside of the barrier. The EMP didn't effect any of COBRA's gear as they were using an alternate energy source. It also didn't effect the gadgety criminal The Blank. While his gear is electronic it's under his personal forcefield and out of reach of the EMP blast.
The Knight managed to cobble together a radio of sorts, to try and reach SHIELD through the barrier. So far the only means of communicating outside the barrier has been to be at the city limits and yelling at whoever is on the other side. Cobra Commander intercepted the transmission and pretended to be SHIELD, while directing a tank assault to intercept the Knight... which the English hero survived.
Lex Luthor's team were hit by the EMP, as were those SHIELD units close to the outside of the barrier. Fortunately the SHIELD helicarrier was out of range. Luthor had brought one of his warsuits, the kind he fights Superman in, which seemed also immune to the EMP's effect. Crossing paths with Captain America, while Cobra Commander watched on displays from his secret location, Luthor forged an alliance with the Flag themed hero to take down the barrier...
...after which, all bets are off.
Some brief contact with the barrier has shown that touching it is not fatal but extremely painful.
Other than the local DJ running out of toilet paper, that's about it.
