Yes, I watched all of "Firefly" first.
Today I watched "Serenity" with my pal Gee.
I absolutely cannot believe that my favorite character was allowed to survive. To the entire END of the movie, no less. I would have assumed that Whedon had a built-in Pissing Me Off Radar that would not have allowed such a phenomenon as this to happen.
... I mean, he totally tried to make up for it by killing my second-favorite characters instead, never fear. But my _absolute_ favorite Firefly/Serenity character did, indeed, Make It Out. Who woulda thunk it.
(I may still be a little bitter about Buffy Season Six. I KNOW I NEED TO GET OVER IT; APPARENTLY, I HAVEN'T MANAGED IT YET.)
