[via LJ2ME] Why I Like It When You Link.
I like it when people put links in their status messages on Facebook. When I'm in the right mood (like I am right now), it sort of feels like a little scavenger hunt and it's fun. Just now, I read an interesting and amusing article about Stephen King's opinion on the Twilight books and I learned about five.sentenc.es (also amusing and interesting).
It's occasionally also fun to click links that people have posted in their status updates on Twitter but for the most part, I think it's overdone and I have a tendency to ignore those. Facebook ones are more likely to get my attention, probably because it's specifically NOT done as often.
So yeah. That's why I like it when people put links in their status messages.
