Ok *rant about work*
Under the cut because Disney..
I'm now a trainer for my area and we're getting a ton of new people. Not just the usual CPs (College Program kids that are with us for a semester) but also a ton of part timers that, really we don't have room for.
One new part timer that I trained is... ugh... She's a Passhole (Annual Passholders who are more than happy to tell you this at a moments notice, because 'they' know all the tricks and you aren't giving them what they want... #wehatethem), who, I feel like is just "playing" at being a CM. She plays more than works, and works less even when she works. The other day.. I'm at Mermaid Standby (a position I can't leave) and she is strollers (a position she CAN leave if need be). She walked a 12 year old up to ME who couldn't find his family and dumped him on me. How the frell am I supposed to help this kid when I can't frelling leave Mermaid. He went to get popcorn at the cart just outside the archway and came back to find his family has wandered off without him. I did what I could and called a coordinator to walk with him around the Courtyard to find his family. A few minutes later the Coordinator came back to let me know he'd found his family. I told the Coordinator what happened and he rolled his eyes. Because seriously. Stroller lot, you could have walked around the Courtyard with the kid and found his family. WTF would she have done if he'd been 5 or under? You have to know how to deal with lost kids, and dumping them on someone else ain't it. /end rant
I've gotten re-addicted to Voyager. Well, I say re-addicted, but really, I've finally fallen HARD on that train. Captain Janeway is quickly becoming my favorite Starfleet Captain. Now, I love me some Picard, but Janeway.. Oh, Janeway.
Now I just need to find out where the Voyager fandom is hiding. Specifically the Janeway/Chakotay fandom because of course I'm gonna fall for the ship that should have sailed but didn't.
