4 ways today sucked and 1 way it didn't....

5. RAIN! OMG the rain... I will never be dry again. Thunder and Lightning and the works! Frankly, I love storms, but working in them is a whole new ballgame. At least I was under cover for the most part during the worst of it. But trying to get guests out of theatres when it's raining, so we can load the next show is next to impossible, and the looks you get...

4. I broke Mermaid... Well, not really, but we had to evac/dump the show right before the second number because the screen didn't rise properly and I was the one in Theatre. So I was the one who had to call the coordinator and let them know that we were 101. (Down) Thankfully I got rotation, and then my bumpout right after that. It was still down when I left... hopefully it came back up.

3. Dude, when it's storming, yes, you can be under cover if you're strollers. But once it's stopped raining... go away. You have a stroller lot to take care of. Get back to your position.

2. Same Dude... When you are turnstiles/merge at Mermaid, you have to call Land Ho at the 2 minute mark and Anchor's Away at the 1 minute mark. Otherwise, Fastpass and Standby will just keep sending people down. Because we're not mind readers. Also, you can't wait until -0 minutes to showtime and call Anchors. you close your preshow doors FIRST.. THEN Preshow closes Theatre doors. It can't be the other way around, or Standby doesn't know you're not allowing more people in... So when I say, why are you turning away 5 people when I know the theatre is empty, and your preshow doors are still wide open, you don't say'the stage manager said to stop letting them in'. Dude, if you'd done it correctly, we would not have sent those people up i the first EFFING PLACE, your doors are open LET THEM IN! (Yes, I let them in, even though the character attendant is screaming at me because they have to get the puppeteers crossed to the stage) GAH.. Learn how to do your damned job! CALL LAND AND ANCHORS AT THE RIGHT TIMES!

And the way it wasn't...

1. When the area leader/Manager asks you what you're doing at that moment, and you say I'm just tasking (not actually in a position) and his response is, "Do you wanna ride Toy Story?" the correct response is YES! So He grabbed another tasker and another manager, and we went to test ride the new track at Toy Story. I did pretty good... had a score of 155,200. Not bad at all!

Now, I'm going to go take a bath, because I feel like a drowned disgusting rat.. and them I'm going to eat something and then sleep because OMG this day....

ranty mcrant, walt disney world is my life now, gaah!
