How I miss your original logo (and correct spelling)
Watched the Scifi Channel's anniversary special last night.
What the retrospective (they they didn't seem to bother about putting in chronological order - Farscape came before Stargate on Scifi) showed was just how much better Sci fi was in the beginning and that no matter how you spell the crap, SyFy indeed, it still stinks. Scifi needs to make itself relevant again.
Was a nice little retropective on Farscape. Claudia looked adorable as usual. Would love to find screencaps of that. hint hint...
But they have GOT to get over these stupid ass humiliation is funny game shows because seriously.. it's not. It's infantile lowbrow humor that really should not be encouraged, because always in the end.. someone gets hurt. AND ITS NOT FUNNY.
I will say that Defiance looks interesting and it has a good pedigree (YAY Rockne!) But the game.. I'm not a fan of those shooter type Borderlandsish games. Hopefully it is more than that, but it looks kinda Borderlands (though without the sense of humor I am sure)
To put it all in perspective... Was talking to Steve last night on AIM. He's watching an anime and I'm watching the end of the Scifi anniversary special.. And this snippet happened:
Dragonscholar: For a few eps I was like "Dude, you became what you're mocking."
bizarra: So it was like watching the last half hour of the sci fi anniversary special. *snort*
Dragon Scholar: LOL
