(no subject)
A week and a half left for the con. yay! suzy_queue and I have an idea for our door. We just need to cobble together the pics. Oh what I wouldn't give for the ability to make a good Hilary/Adora manip. (Shakes fist in rage at AMC -- you couldn't even have done GOOD Promo pics yah wankers! )
If there is anyone on my Flist who can do manips, or even icons from crappy screen caps (again with the fists of rage --Give us our DVD you assholes! There's only 56 half hour (well, OK, one's an hour) episodes, it'll only need ONE FREAKING SET.) Er.. anyway. :) I really want some icons/manips of the non-canon pairings I'm playing with. Jeff/Hilary/Scott, and Hilary/Adora.
Anyway... We're so ready for a weekend of character debauchery and fun. :) Oh, I hope the vid show is longer than an hour this year. Though at least I got to go to the K/S room party because of the short vid show last year. :) (Please don't have it opposite the vids this year. ;) )
I'm flying out of Oakland this year.. because I waited too long and my SFO flight was sold out. So if nothing else, a new airport to review for my languishing Airport Review Blog. But, ... I don't wanna fly out of Oakland...not fond of that airport.
Random Note... Hilary and Adora got frisky this weekend. O.o Well, it frankly was inevitable.. but... *whooo fans self* I'm so loving this completely unexpected pairing/friendship. At some point, I need to start getting this whole thing down in fanfic format and out of the cumbersome LJ format. Also, by now, between the plotting and the RP/writing... erinm_4600 has become a co-writer, whether she wants it or not. (Yeah, yeah.. by this point its our story not just mine. :-)
On a sad note thanks to filkertom 's reminder... it's been 20 years today since we lost Jim Henson. :( I shall leave you with Tom's heartwrenching homage, written at a con on the day he heard the news.
