Monday Monday......
*Interesting topic at charloft today. On character deaths. I intend to post a response there but thought I'd make mention of my feelings about that here. I look at it this way. They're fictional. They can be alive again in the next story. I frankly don't get the ZOMG you KILLED KENNY!!!!! I'lll never read your fic again!!!! MMMkay. Whatever. Next story, kenny's alive and perfectly well. Whatevs.
Perhaps its because I was raised surrounded by death. Real actual death. Real people dying vs fictional dying? Yeah, I'll take the fictional one thanks.
So what I am saying is? I DO kill characters. i kill them repeatedly. (I've killed Jeff twice, I've killed Hilary once) But killing them in a story, *adds* to the story, if the story is written properly. I write angst people, you know this. LOL
*erinm_4600 and I have been playing with characters and we're kinda falling for a Hilary/Adora Cain ship. Totally and Completely accidentally. The characters jsut kinda gravitated that way. wasn't something we planned. LOL In fact, Hilary's all, oh hey.. I like this universe, I wanna be a part of it. *sigh*
*Dr Who episode 2, The Beast below. I really really enjoyed. I liked that we saw a sligtly less manic 11 (and a less 10-like 11 for those who were complaining). Ok, 'nuff said, anything further goes into spoily territory. So I'll just leave it there and say, I loved the episode. :)
