Ok, you know my job is boring when I enjoyed the heck out of a day of envelope stuffing at another place. (Ironically.. I made the same amount an hour stuffing those envelopes, as I do working part time as a receptionist at the place I am now.)
Monday I have an interview at another place basically as a receptionist/admin, but it sounds like the position is a lot more involved than this one is.. and I may have a lot more to do. Plus, I'd make $1 more an hour, and its full time. Much better than this.
My take on the Dumbledore controversy...
Why does it *have* to be in the text? A good writer worth his or her salt will have a complete backstory thought up and possibly written down in their notes about a character.. and more often than not the backstory will not make it into the final written book. Why? There's no need. Just like there was no need for it to be in the books that Dumbledore was gay. It had *nothing* to do with the story she was telling. All it was, was backstory to make the character that much richer and fully rounded. By heavens if the back histories of every character was in every book, we'd all be reading books the size and wordiness of Moby Dick. And really, do we want that? LOL
Also, Lucy is the most neurotic dog I've ever owned. Seriously..I thought the garbage bags were bad enough... They've been painting our buildings and doing a general spiffing up of the apartment complex and, in the last few weeks they gotten to our building. And Lucy is afraid to go outside. She'll hold it and make herself miserable before going outside to go to the bathroom. There have been a couple times where
dragonscholar has had to take her to the nearest gas station just so she'd relieve herself. And as soon as she gets back into feeling like she can go outside.. the week starts again and the workmen and painters are back.. and we're back to square one. Lucy, I love you, but really.. the grass isn't going to pee on itself!
Also.. AlMiles.. why must you keep torturing us with the Clana.. What did we ever do to you?? Otherwise.. wow.. what a great episode.. except the whole.. you've got me, who's got you moment (with musical cue!!!!) would have been a HELL of a lot better with, even Chloe! but Lana?? Come on.. by now its old. And STOP with the 'tease" killing her. Either do it or don't.. But really all you are doing at this point is jerking our chains. And its *really* annoying.
