Proguies and Punk
Yesterday evening, Chuck and i attended our 2nd Buzzcocks show of the summer at the Warsaw. What an experience. The Warsaw is the best venue ever. Nothing like eating a home cooked meal, drinking a few beers and dancing to punk music with people who smell like the latter 2 things.
Right before the Buzzcocks took the stage, we encountered the creepiest guy i've ever seen at a show. He was about 55 and wearing a yellow soccer jersey. He was talking to these two girls who were about highschool age (or so they said)and he kept asking them creepy questions about the clothes they were wearing and what they liked to do and stuff. then he gave them a card and said he'd really like to take pictures of them and i almost socked this guy in the jaw. the girls backed away and he looked offended. Fuck those goddamn people, it must be hard being a female these days. Sorry that you all have to deal with total creepy douchebags like that.
But this didn't put a damper on the good times ahead. The Buzzcocks played louder, better and with much more energy and comfort then Irving. We were also in a good spot for dancing! The coolest guy on the floor award goes to the older guy with the videocamera dancing his ass off. That guy knew how to have a good time, i wanted to buy him a shot or something!
Other news in the world of rock n' roll, Syd Barrett, founder of Pink Floyd died today of aparent complications from diabeties. That guy also did more drugs then most people alive today. He lived his live 100% Insane.
