(no subject)
Merry Christmas all! Hope it was wonderful. Mine was. Especially the end : ) Anyways, it was very nice, quiet, simple. Favorite present from the family isnt here yet, a picture/poster of a Cuban ballerina- http://www.art.com/asp/sp-asp/_/Aff--CONF/CTID--69673334/RFID--945680/TKID--15028715/pd--10093825/posters.htm. Goodness, Im the biggest prima ballerina want to be ever and I dont even take dance anymore. Besides that, lots of friend and horse time. I really need to be playing my flute more, and more guard practice. Im scared about the upcoming season, 2/3 weeks and we dont have a lot of work written. But hey, itll be fun any way it comes. In general,Im so relaxed, its so nice.
On a different note Ive been looking more at colleges. Id really like to go out of state, some Ive been looking at:
Emory, Wash U, U of Chicago, U of Penn, Tufts, Yale, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Wesleyan U, Davidson, Dartmouth
Most are way above me but hey, I can have "reach" schools right? Id really like my PSAT scores back, Im praying theyre good. I did however get an application today for this free 6 week program (after extensive emission processes, thats somewhat based on PSAT scores so maybe thats a good sign.
I cant figure out what to do with my summer. Id really like to go to France but there are so many things Ill need to do. Extended essay, group 4, finish CAS/Service Learning (oh crap, I still need a proposal for that)... the list goes on. And I need to work, either this summer or next. Whatever summer I go to France (Im almost sure Ill go at some point) I wont work. But what about this other program, or other academic thingy magigers? Ahh, and I need to figure that and college visits out soon so plane tickets are cheaper. Notice the "er" part, but parents seem to think it (college and exchange french program) are important enough to spend the mulah.
