(no subject)
Geez, l really should update more. I dont have class until 10 so l can hang around home for awhile. But l still get up normal time so that l can do stuff, like update. No, actually l'm a pretty light sleeper these days and Dad and Skye make so much noise when they get up so l wake up aswell.
It's my birthday next week! That's gonna be pretty cool. Well, not the birthday - you don't have an epiphany or whatever, l mean the present part. I have to go out to dinner with my family -.- but then l'm arranging another with just friends. So anyway, my Dad is getting me the mac laptop, l wasn't sure for awhile, with the whole hub/router thing, but he has a client who had a mac laptop and apparently he way saying all good things but whatver, a laptop, who wouldn't be happy? And l like apple anyway, *points to her ipod* if they can make that stuff, l have faith their laptop range is also as good. I still have to pick something for my Grandparents to get me, they got Skye a necklace or something, but l'm not really into jewellry so l dunno. Maybe l'll get a really cool laptop bag. I saw some cool black shiny ones. And because l'm getting the 12", l can get a sleek looking one. 12" makes sense to me, my Dad thinks l should get the 14".. but.. if l have to take it places, l don't want it to get heavy and to be honest, the 12" is small and compact and just seems to be the logical choice.
So anyway, USC is pretty cool, the whole lifestyle of it. It's pretty good. I get frees during the day so l study then and l dont have so much when l come home. But, it is only week 2 and in 2 more weeks l'll probably be saying otherwise. I'm still getting use to the hours though, Mon-Wed l have classes that finish at 5 and l'm exhausted when l come home. But l guess l just have to wait for my body to adjust because l can't come home and sleep all the time -- l get too much homework.
Since l finish at 5 most days, l get a lift home with my Dad because he works at CBA like, 10min from my campus. And we were talking about my friend Jackie who lives in the Unihouse on Rundle Mall and he's like, 'You should find out about it, you could live there too.' And l was like, whatever thinking he was joking but he kept insisting he was serious so now l'm like, W.T.F.. he wants me to move out at the tender age of a-week-of-16. I mean, wow, he'd actually let me do that? I mean, l know he's a little different to most parents, maybe it the age, maybe it's the ego, but whatever. Still, l dunno how l'd cope. It'd be hard l suppose, but at the same time pretty awesome. I'd get to live in a building on Runlde Mall, l could go home on weekends, a 30 second walk from my campus. Well, the main one anyway. I could get so much sleep. I'd wake up 20mins before class. I could go to bed at like 1,2am and still be fine for an 8 o'clock class. It's probably really expensive, but o-well, it doesn't seem to bother him. He wants me to find out about it. I'll just ask Jackie, but l suppose if the opportunity arises l'd take it. Who wouldn't?
