Stuff for sale
We have a few things that need to go.
First off, there's this beautiful old sofa sitting over at the house on 36th, that needs a bit of restoration (needs new webbing underneath, at least). We've been told that it would fetch a couple hundred dollars on craigslist as-is, but friends will get first shot.
It really belongs in the lobby of a classy old theater, but it can be yours. Yours! For the low, low price of... well, whatever we can get out of you. (Like, $200?) If you restore it and let us borrow it to stage in the house when it goes up for sale that will score big points.
Next up is a giant TV. Our TV room is becoming a baby room, so there's no place in the house for its gigantic glory. It's a 61" InFocusDLP HDTV. It's about 5 years old. In fine shape, though it would probably be brighter if it had a new lamp (costs $130). Also, it's really heavy- 135 pounds without the base. We also have the wall mount hardware. Friends price... we'll call it $400, if you can actually show up with your own truck and make it go away. That's a yardstick in the photo: did I mention it was big?
