I went and bought a big bag of mixed olives from Bill's. Very satisfactory.
And then! We went for the first time to the new Lake Wine & Spirits (though the building says Lake Wine & Cheese, I think). It's really good! They have a very nice cheese shop that has lots of interesting things: crackers, jams, cheese, and dozens of unusual salts. Very nicely unique. In the booze section I found a 750ml bottle of aged cider from Normandy. And "Jamaican #1" bitters, that claims a "flavor profile" of "allspice, ginger, black pepper." It was one of 5 bitters, made by the same company in Milwaukee. They seem to have a wide variety of beers as well.
