Yesterday on the road, I was surrounded by three Honda CR-Vs. Two silver, one white. It was kinda eerie.
Went and saw Nebraska: The Musical last night, and it was...not bad! Too bad that because the speakers and the monitors are linked, you can't control the volumes for them individually - so the music was REALLY loud (so that the actors could hear themselves through the monitors to sing) and you couldn't hear the singing! Oops. Pretty archetypal story, although based on true events - boy meets girl, boy kills for girl, boy and girl on run together.
After the show, went out to The Wheat Sheaf with Wilson, Mel, Elsa and co, where we sat on the patio, and Wilson and I, unfortunately, sat right beside this girl smoking. At which point, my allergies, which had been on vacation for the past few weeks, returned WITH A VENGEANCE!
Calling today's performance of The Sicilian (FOUR MORE SHOWS LEFT!) was a tricky situation - what with my sneezing and sniffling. And all my plans to see other Fringe shows went down the drain because I felt like HELL! Went to Mike's place and took a nap. Woke up when he got home, and am now at my home. Still feel like crap, but not as bad as before.
What will cheer me up? Some Star Wars? Maybe Mary Poppins? Ooh...Toy Story!? Oh the decisions!!!
