Black trim and car wax are like oil and water

With my old truck, there was no trim. You could just wax it like a madman and not worry about much, except for getting it in the crevices.. which were so big that it wasn't a big deal to get it out. Now, with my new car, there's black trim all over. On the sides of the doors, the front and back bumpers, and all along the bottom. The thing about trim is that it absorbs the white wax and doesn't let it come out easily. I've tried scrubbing it out and it just won't budge. The best thing I found, until now, was Mother's Back to Black which does wonders..... unitl it rains. When it rains the B2B just streaks down the side of the car, mucking up my wax job. After enough rains, the trim is greyish again.

I recently ordered some maintenance stuff and thought I'd give Forever Black a try. I had to clean the trim with a special cleaner, and tape off the trim. The cleaner is supposed to remove any kind of silicone that would prevent the dye from penetrating the plastic, and the tape is for.. well, we're working with DYE here people! I didn't think my trim was THAT bad until I put on my first application. What an amazing difference, it's black again - it almost looks like it was painted. An even more amazing thing is that it started raining a few hours after the application and nothing has streaked.
