She had set the stolen vortex manipulator to the time and place Jeremy had informed her of the day before. Seeing that as last time she had offered the boy a trip through space, he had backed out, Jenny figured the easiest way to meet him would be to pick him up herself

Shock and awe at her sudden appearance. Lots of shock and awe. He's meeting an alien! :3

"...Hey! I'm here." With pizza, too. He'd made a mistake there, getting it ordered too early and now it's cold... but surely a spaceship has a microwave?

The box looks different than the container her last pizza pie came in (then again, she had been a long way from Earth). Still, Jenny beams as she jogs over.

"Hello!"

He might be squeezing that box a little too much~. "...Hi. How are you?"

[bitunlikely]

"Great," she answers, stopping in front of him. If he wasn't holding the box, she'd probably embrace him in a hug. "I'm doing great! What about you? Looking forward to going on a trip?"

It's the thought that counts. He relaxes somewhat. :3

"I'm okay." Nod! "If it works. You remember it might not...?"

Jenny nods, smiling confidently. "It will. It'll have to."

"Okay." Deeeep breath. "Let's... get it over with."

Jenny glances down at the device on her wrist and quickly taps in the proper coordinates to get back to her stationed ship. Then, she holds out a hand.

"Easiest way to travel, okay?"

"...what's that? Like a teleporter?" He hesitates, realizes it's stupid, and takes her hand anyway. Strange tingly electric boy!

The electricity makes her giggle a little and she shakes her head. "No. It's a vortex manipulator. It's what lets me travel through time."

Smugly (and a tad conspiratorially), she adds in: "I stole it from a Time Agent."

"What's a time agent?"

And they haven't moved! "I'm ready ..."

"Its-"

And, for a split second, the world goes fuzzy around them. Then, rather standing on the Earth street, they're in a crowded spaceport (not too far from where the docking bay is).

"-an individual belonging to a 51st century agency that monitors and regulates time travel in the universe."

He almost drops the pizza, more than just shocked this time! Probably from the trip and what she said.

"...you're not supposed to be using that?"

Jenny gives him a look. "So?"

"...sorry. Just asking." He peeks inside the pizza box, stalling ...

And then looking around. "Which one's yours?"

Jenny smiles and shrugs before reaching for his hand again. "It's this way. We need to go to the docking bay. Right now, we're in the 'port proper."
