Forgotten Films Director's Premiere!
Forgotten Films of Eugene, volume 1
Bijou cinema on 14th and Ferry (Eugene, OR)
Saturday July 14th (and Friday and Sunday) late show (11:30ish)
My friend and artistic cohort Mike Bazanale put together a 95 minute Feature compilation of work by us and a few other Eugene independent filmmakers. Everything from humorous 30-second stop-motion animations to 15 minute weird horror flicks, all tied together by Mike's distinctive editing and a very Eugene sense of humor (not to mention complete lack of budget!).
It'll be playing all three nights of the weekend starting a little while before midnight, but Saturday is the show to attend if you can. All of the artists will be there to question or berate as you see fit, and we'll have (read "push") $5 DVDs of the show for sale (and maybe we'll bring along some of our other work to sell as well?). Hope to see you there!
Ps. Since it's in Eugene and a late night showing, you'll most likely want to stay the night. Let me know ASAP if you're going to come and I should be able to arrange for couches or at least floors for people to sleep on.
