My dear friend Jason passed away today.
He was in a motorcycle crash on the Howard Franklin Bridge.The story was in the St Pete Times if you are curious, and on Bay News 9, but pretty much he was speeding- doing 120 mph and when he tried to slow down in traffic, his rear tire popped and this sent him plummeting 230 feet off his bike. He had serious injuries, including a collapsed lung, broken ribs, brain damage, and ripped liver. He was bayflighted to Tampa General, but he did not make the 72 hour clearance.
Ironically, the subject line was a saying he used.
He was an incredible person, a compassionate friend, and a wonderful soul. He will be missed terribly.
