(no subject)
So apparently my insurance wouldn't cover my first prenatal appointment and the ultrasound if they were on the same day, so I had all the yucky stuff done yesterday. The ultrasound is tomorrow. The doctor said everything looks good and normal so far, I'm just really excited to have the ultrasound. I've been waiting forever! :)
I'll post about it tomorrow, hopefully they give me pictures that I can share.
In a few weeks I'll have to see a specialist and get a special high def. ultrasound done because I have really mild spina bifida but they want to be sure that the baby doesn't have it too. I'm not worried that the baby has it, because I've been taking extra folic acid for nearly a year. It'll be neat to have the super detailed ultrasound though. They'll also do a blood test to check for trisomy 18 and downs syndrome. Hopefully everything is perfect. As I said, I'm not too worried about any of that.
