Energy Drain

I am now convinced utterly that my work's conveyor system and lights, etc is run off of all of our hopes, dreams and happiness. This place absolutely sucks the energy out of you the moment you walk in the building. If you listen closely, you can almost hear the whispering screams of the souls being taped into the boxes and shipped out the doors.

Dood - that door across the way may appear to be closed; it is open. Go push on it, feel the fresh air in your nose. That is the air of open doors. No more corporate gloom, no more meetings to discuss dress codes and the parking lot garbage cans. No more middle managers riding your ass for not updating a binder with a copied piece of (wasted) paper. No more quarterly reports about bonuses that may or may not happen since you didn't have perfect attendance (3rd graders?!?!). No more privacy notices in your IM conversations.

I did it in March of 2000. It was the BEST move I ever made. Seriously. 8 1/2 years of warehousing was enuff. The stuff I learned has taken places I never thot I would go.

Sorry... been distracted...
sometimes it's not always that simple. As it is I have 2 jobs to make the bills.
Trust me, it's not like I'm not out there looking. I just cant make the leap without something waiting for me on the other side...
Besides, I'm a couple of months away from 10 years at this place and I've said the last few years that I have to at least get my stupid plaque. LOL
I wont be here too much longer.. At least I hope not...
