its been a while since I posted about my tawdry love affair. Might as well get back up to speed.
237. Only 237. A far cry from what I was once able to do. I think at my peak, I was able to approach something like 1100 ab crunches, but now have backslid to less than 300. I consider this a challenge, and something that will be fun to measure.
My weight is right about where its been for the past year, but I do miss some of the definition I had while at my most focused, so that is my goal. Besides, I have many, many friends, some younger than me who have been afflicted by various mysterious joint issues - backs and knees in particular - and there's no reason I will not be next, so I am going to do what I can to strengthen those areas in hopes of heading off weird torks and twists. For a while I had this super sexy definition in my lower back and I'd like to get that again. Its where a lot of women get tattoos, but I thought it was pretty enough without the ink.
Anyway - still madly in love with the
BOSU for both balancing and using during
plank pose. Its awesome for stabilizing the core and I've had several personal trainers come up to me and ask me about the routine of exercises I do with it - i've even seen some of them use the series with their clients afterwards, so that's nice.
Gym: 5 days a week, 1 hour a session, weights and cardio. I absolutely love it and I feel so much better when I know my body is getting what it needs.
love you.
