usually by this time of the year, I'd've started going to a tanning salon to get some color before the summer. Of course this year tanning is one of those discretionary expenses that have been given up in light of the nouvelle self-imposed frugality measures. So it wasn't at all surprising to drive by the little strip mall that housed my tanning salon-of-choice to see the shop now vacant and a "for lease" sign on it, huh?
