Indiana Jones and the Script of Doom

My parents enjoyed this movie more than I did. It's fun. It knows it's being done only to satisfy nostalgic demand so it doesn't shoot for the moon. It delivers what it promises, just don't expect any real surprises. But I just can't help feeling that there was a much better story waiting to be found.

Much better story? This was a paint by numbers story. It was like a Disney ride remake, hold all the expenses bolt-on. It wasn't bad, but definately rated a 'why bother if your not going to try'. I don't think I could have been more disappointed, without being able to point at specific fault.

Oh hang on a sec, there was the whole ROSWELL BOLLOCKS. '50s yankie urban myth sure, but Indie it wasn't.

Apologies for not Reading the whole review in advance... This might just be a knee jerk reaction to the lack of story.

I could have bought the whole aliens thing ... if it was done well. It wasn't done well. The only thing keeping me from being even more negative was that Raiders is the only one of the three that really stands up to the test of time.

true enough. I think the first is the only classic.
