It occurs to me that many of the iconic moments in my life have come because someone completely misunderstood me.

The universe and I used to have an understanding that no ill could come to me. If ever things were going wrong, I would simply wake up to find it was all a dream.

After high school, the universe seems to have expected me to grow up.
