Doctor Who 50th anniversary
I'm watching Luther on BBC America and loving it. Just finished the first season (or series, as it is likely called in Britain). Idris is great and Paul McGann is too. And I've decided that more than anything or anyone else, I want to see Paul McGann, as the 8th Doctor, show up in Doctor Who's 50th anniversary special. Would it be great to get even just a tiny hint of the Time War? The end, the beginning, somewhere in the middle, I don't care. Just a brief glimpse would be lovely. Especially if it gives us a look at a rugged, weary, short-haired** 8th Doctor. So many feelings.
** Nothing against long hair, I just think it would be more appropriate if the Doctor had undergone such a drastic physical change, to signify all the horror of war and whatnot. Plus, I know that McGann hated that horrible wig.
